Introducing the HFS Hatchery Micro-diet Feeders from Oceans Design - the ultimate solution for weaning larvae to dry micro-diets. Our HFS feeders are specifically designed to administer micro-diets ranging from 100 to 2000 microns in size. A clear hopper allows the user to easily gauge how much feed is in the hopper and the angled design prevents the micro-diets from compacting under its own weight.

The HFS feeder works by distributing feed as “shots” with a quick action solenoid that pulls the feed plate back dropping a small amount of micro-diet in front of a built-in air manifold, dispersing feed up to 3ft into the tank depending on the micro-diet feed characteristics. Up to 4 consecutive shots can be administered per feeding event.
