Pump Strainers

The ESW Series is similar to our SW design but incorporates an oversized housing/basket design for high flow or high strainer loading applications. This model is ideal for aquatic life support systems found in aquariums and zoos, as well as commercial pool applications. Be sure to specify SS316 basket and hardware for LSS applications.

Our heavy-duty FT model strainer is constructed of FRP, PVC, and 316SS. These materials result in a product that is extremely corrosion resistant and built to last the life of any project. The standard basket is 18 Gauge 316SS, constructed with 1/8" holes perforated on 3/16" staggered centers. Baskets can be fabricated with a variety of hole sizes and open areas to meet varying design requirements. The Genesys Basket Strainer (FT) offers greater temperature resistance and chemical compatibility than traditional iron, steel, and bronze strainers.

The RSW Series is our most popular reducing basket strainer for standard aquatic applications. The RSW hair and lint strainer design has been refined over its 30+ years of production; it offers maximum performance, is user friendly and is the premier choice for many aquatic applications. This is an eccentric reducing version of our SW Series.

Ocean's Design utilizes quality basket strainers which are specifically developed and engineered for aquatic applications. Stainless Steel strainers eliminate debris from fluid lines and piping just before a pump, or in a pipeline to protect instrumentation. Strainer baskets are built to last, laser cut from heavy duty 12-gauge stainless steel. Strainer Basket Components include 304 SS T Handles, Clear acrylic lids, and loose ring SCH 80 flanges and conform to ANSI B16.5, Class 150. Custom strainers can be fabricated based on your required open area. For example, oversized bodies can be fabricated for high loading applications to minimize basket cleaning.

Fluidtrol Process Technologies, Inc. manufactures basket strainers to identical centerline and face-to-face dimensions as Marlow C10X and D10X Series. However, our strainers are constructed from the more corrosion resistant PVC/FRP laminate.

Included with this strainer package is a clear acrylic lid, stainless T-Handle lid attachments, Van-Stone Flanges and heavy-duty stainless basket- 1/8" perforated. All components and fabrication as in our SW Series Aquatic Strainers.

All of our strainers are available in duplex configuration, which includes the option to purchase a duplex assembly minus isolation valves.
