Oxygen Sensors
Oxygen sensors are critical devices designed to measure the concentration of dissolved oxygen in water, a vital parameter for the health and growth of aquatic organisms. These sensors provide real-time monitoring, allowing aquaculture operators to ensure that oxygen levels remain within optimal ranges. By detecting fluctuations in oxygen concentration, these sensors help prevent stress and mortality in stock, promoting better growth rates and overall system health. Typically featuring robust, waterproof designs for reliability in harsh aquatic environments, many oxygen sensors utilize advanced technologies like optical or galvanic sensing. With accurate and timely data, aquaculture managers can make informed decisions to enhance water quality and improve production efficiency, supporting sustainable practices.

Oxyguard Model 420 DO Probe
Starting at $35.40
The Model 420 is a membrane covered galvanic oxygen probe with a built-in two-wire 4-20 mA transmitter. The probe is connected to a DC supply and draws a current of between 4 and 20 mA corresponding to the oxygen concentration.
There are only two wires to connect, and there is no limit to cable length. The output signal is galvanically isolated from the built-in electronics and the process fluid. Interface between the Model 420 and other equipment can never occur!
