Temperature Sensors

Temperature sensors are vital tools for monitoring water temperature in aquaculture systems, which is crucial for the health and growth of aquatic organisms. These sensors provide accurate, real-time data, allowing operators to maintain optimal temperature ranges tailored to specific species. By continuously tracking temperature fluctuations, aquaculture managers can make informed decisions to enhance feeding strategies, manage breeding cycles, and prevent stress-related issues. Built to withstand harsh aquatic environments, these sensors are often designed for durability and reliability. With their precise measurements, temperature sensors play a key role in promoting healthy ecosystems and maximizing productivity in sustainable aquaculture practices.

The Type 2350 Temperature Sensor has a one-piece injection molded PVDF body that is ideal for use in high purity applications. It also outlasts metal sensors in aggressive liquids and eliminates the need for costly custom thermowells. These sensors are available with a proprietary digital (S³L) output or field-scalable 4 to 20 mA output.

Dual threaded ends (3/4" NPT) allow submersion in process vessels, or in-line installation with conduit connection. An integral adapter kit (sold separately) may be used to create a compact assembly with field mount versions of the type 9900 Transmitter.
