Self cleaning tanks are manufactured as center draining or sidewall draining and in many cases ordered as a hybrid of the two. The center draining tanks utilizes a center standpipe that is stationary and utilizes an air curtain to prevent larvae from getting impinged on the larval screen. The side draining tanks utilize 1-2 ESLIDE LARVAL boxes making screen changes very fast with no loss of larvae. These boxes hang from the inside sidewall of the tank and have an air curtain in front of the screen to prevent larvae from getting impinged on the screen.
