Ocean's Design utilizes quality basket strainers which are specifically developed and engineered for aquatic applications. Stainless Steel strainers eliminate debris from fluid lines and piping just before a pump, or in a pipeline to protect instrumentation. Strainer baskets are built to last, laser cut from heavy duty 12-gauge stainless steel. Strainer Basket Components include 304 SS T Handles, Clear acrylic lids, and loose ring SCH 80 flanges and conform to ANSI B16.5, Class 150. Custom strainers can be fabricated based on your required open area. For example, oversized bodies can be fabricated for high loading applications to minimize basket cleaning. Standard features include:
- Composite laminate construction offers corrosion resistance of PVC and the mechanical strength of fiberglass.
- Minimum pressure drop in the line due to large open area to pipe diameter ratios.
- Stainless strainers are welded from SCH 10 304 SS
- Standard strainer basket are constructed with 1/8" perforated holes @ 3/16" staggered centers.
